Job Description: F & I Clerk

Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Classification: Full Time

Work Schedule: Dealership Hours are 8:30 am-7:00 pm- Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am-6:00 pm Fridays, and 8:00 am-3:00 pm Saturday. Position is scheduled 40-48 hours per week, or as dealership volume and needs dictate

Scope of departmental work: General support for the Finance and Insurance department

Education requirements: Minimum of high school diploma

Compensation: $55,000 to $60,000 annual, commiserate with experience

Responsibilities:

· Prepare Financial and Legal documents

· Print documents for vehicle sales transactions

· Communicate with lenders to ensure deals are funded in a timely fashion

· Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations

· Prepare deal packages with complete and proper documentation for lenders

· Maintain excellent records management

· Build and maintain excellent working relationships with sales staff, office staff, and managers

· Prepare reports as requested by management

· Other duties as assigned
