Title: Laser Operator Department: Fabrication Reports to: Fabrication Supervisor

Job Objective:

Service customers through the production of laser cutting and fabricating parts,

Become a vital part of the Fabrication building, which includes laser and break press operation

Responsibilities:

· Ability to manage multiple tasks, and organize and prioritize time effectively.

· Verify dimensional accuracy and quality of part details.

· Operate basic tool room equipment, including but not limited to laser and press break equipment.

· Perform periodic maintenance and inspections of equipment and components.

Relationships and Roles:

· Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees, including training other employees

· Build trust, value others, lead by example, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.

· Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all departments.

· 1-3 years’ experience in set up and operation of laser machines.

· CAD and MetaCam experience a plus.

· Proficient math skills required.

· Must become fork lift certified.

· Must have experience using overhead crane effectively and safely.

· Proficient with measuring equipment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

· Continual standing, bending, twisting and repetitive motion

· Must use PPE, and safety toed shoes, and wear company provided uniforms.

At times will be working in a loud, dirty and sometimes warm environment
