Field Activation Specialist

- Promoting products through demonstration and instruction, both on construction sites and in store
- Training Bunnings staff members on the specifications of all products
- Conducting distributor and end-user training/demos at SBD Field Days, in-store training, end-user sites, and major trade events
- Maintaining a range of clean and workable power tools, hand tools, accessories, and materials for the purpose of demonstrations and training
- Providing in-store support including liaising with customers, merchandising, and product demonstration
- Being prepared to stay 2-4 nights a month away from home with occasional evening & weekend work
- Other ad hoc duties as required
- Have strong technical aptitude gained through working as a tradie, in retail hardware, a building/construction-related course, or through a passion for DIY projects
- Possess the confidence and clear communication skills to present product initiatives to end users
- Ideally have some experience in product training to either internal or external parties
- Preferably have experience engaging with customers in the hardware industry or similar
- Most of all, have a passion for working with power tools and hand tools
- Have a full driver’s license.
