The Job: As a Field Activation Specialist, you will be part of our Market Development Team working out in the field visiting construction sites, Bunnings stores, and engaging with end users across Greater Brisbane.
Your duties will include:
  • Promoting products through demonstration and instruction, both on construction sites and in store
  • Training Bunnings staff members on the specifications of all products
  • Conducting distributor and end-user training/demos at SBD Field Days, in-store training, end-user sites, and major trade events
  • Maintaining a range of clean and workable power tools, hand tools, accessories, and materials for the purpose of demonstrations and training
  • Providing in-store support including liaising with customers, merchandising, and product demonstration
  • Being prepared to stay 2-4 nights a month away from home with occasional evening & weekend work
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

You Will:
  • Have strong technical aptitude gained through working as a tradie, in retail hardware, a building/construction-related course, or through a passion for DIY projects
  • Possess the confidence and clear communication skills to present product initiatives to end users
  • Ideally have some experience in product training to either internal or external parties
  • Preferably have experience engaging with customers in the hardware industry or similar
  • Most of all, have a passion for working with power tools and hand tools
  • Have a full driver’s license.
