Job Description

- Responsible for consistently achieving sales targets in Denmark through account focus and prioritizing activity on key targets, representing Gilead’s solid tumour medicines and services to a defined customer base (oncology clinics).
- Utilize solid tumour product and therapeutic disease working knowledge to promote the appropriate use of Gilead products to healthcare professionals.
- Together with Nordic Product Manager, develop and implement various solid tumour marketing/ commercial materials (such as campaign, value story, scientific articles, E-Newsletters)
- Develop and implement key local marketing and sales activities (such as local/regional conferences, International Congresses, Medical Education/lectures, and webinars)
- Responsible for further developing and communicating the Gilead solid tumour portfolio value story in key accounts to drive brand differentiation.
- Work on appropriate co-creation projects with our focus, access to innovation and health equities.
- Prepare an xKAM (business) plan, assign activity and communicate required actions to achieve goals. Prepare territory budgets for customer contacts, speaker events and other miscellaneous external expenditures to drive outcomes in business plan and is accountable jointly for spend.
- With guidance, initiate systems to monitor sales progress and business plans and can present regular performance updates both verbally and in writing.
- Build and extend business relationships with key customers or within accounts.
- Assist in the identification and resolution of issues and opportunities and communicate proactively to Cross functional colleagues.
- May represent company at professional events and promote company products at such events.
- Work cooperatively with Nordic Product manager, BUD as well as colleagues from Medical, Market access, Commercial operations and other internal Gilead team members on various cross-functional projects related to specific accounts or physicians.
- Complete necessary administrative tasks in a timely manner, e.g. updating account plans in Teams, reviews, expenses, etc.
- Responsible for achieving the competency levels required in the role.
- Comply with all regulatory agencies and company SOP’s to required standard at all times.
- Expert in Oncology, account management and project/product management
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with a high level of autonomy and independence
- Must be able to serve as a technical product expert to HCPs and be able show deep understanding of the broader oncology ecosystem
- Deep understanding the patient journey from diagnosis, monitoring, treatment and survivorship
- Strong team ethic and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in an agile way
- This position requires knowledge of industry trends and competitor’s resources and practices
- Experience of Omni-channel strategies and execution
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing are required
- Must be able to proactively identify issues, opportunities, and resolutions and is able to present and effectively communicate issues and recommendations to the cross functional team
- Strategic leadership, business agility, transparency and innovation
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in science)
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant selling experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- At least 3+ years of experience within oncology, preferably breast cancer
- Strong track record and experience in working in or with field roles
- Omni-channel in-field experience
- Demonstrated track record in oncology account management and product management
- Strategic sales leadership and expert selling skills
- Demonstrated strong business acumen.
- Fluent in Danish and high proficiency in English
- Competent experience of using Microsoft Office products is required
- Driven and resilient – self-drive to identify, co-create and implement projects needed to achieve targets in an ambiguous environment.
- Capability to network and build appropriate relationships with key stakeholders, externally and internally.
- Strong cross functional team player – listens actively and responds constructively to needs of others.
- Gets the job done and exhibits a sense of urgency on critical time-dependent issues.
- Curious with learning agility and enthusiasm for identifying and implementing “win-win” collaboration projects with key customers.
