If you're dependable, mechanically inclined, willing to work, and want to learn the construction trade, we'd like to talk with you.

If you have experience in construction, excavation, landscaping, utilities, equipment operation, mechanical trades, or other hands-on work, your experience is valuable here.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Portland Builders Inc. is looking for a Field Construction Specialist to join our field team.

This is a hands-on position working alongside experienced Foremen, Superintendents, equipment operators, carpenters, and other construction professionals.

You'll have the opportunity to develop skills across multiple areas of commercial, civil, infrastructure, and site construction while taking on additional responsibility as you grow.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist with daily construction operations
• Assist with concrete, excavation, demolition, and site work
• Operate hand and power tools
• Assist equipment operators and other field personnel
• Load, unload, and organize materials
• Prepare and maintain jobsites
• Follow plans, instructions, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Learn new construction skills
• Take on additional responsibilities as your skills develop
