Field Engineer

Introduction

The Energetix Sustainability Suite is an Enterprise IoT platform using AI to integrate sensor data streams and intelligent controls to perform Energy Monitoring, optimise Lighting, Plug Loads and ACMV, manage Air Quality, Occupancy and Data Centre Infrastructure. Our customers have reduced energy consumption by up to 40%.

We are looking for a candidate passionate about reducing carbon emissions in the built environment through intelligent energy management.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsible for all aspects of the project implementation lifecycle. Plan, coordinate, and execute IoT deployments to help digitalize the built environment, including the site assessments, installation and configuration of devices and sensors to monitor and optimize energy consumption. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including software engineers, data analysts, and facility managers, to design and implement effective monitoring and control solutions. Provide field technical support and maintenance for projects, working closely with Helpdesk to troubleshoot and fix site related issues. Document project progress, findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Analyze and interpret data collected from IoT devices to generate actionable insights for clients and stakeholders and to feed AI engines. Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of IoT systems. Instrumentation / IoT Devices will include electrical meters, BTU meters, IAQ Sensors, Controllers and various types of sensors and controllers as well as interfacing with Building Management Systems and PLCs.
• Work closely with Account Managers, Consultants and Contractors to engage customers, drive understanding of our solutions, influence tender specifications, qualify and perform demos and POCs and Pilot projects.

Job Requirements

• Degree or higher in Building, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of Engineering/IT experience, preferably in Building Services or Industrial Automation with good knowledge of automation, PLCs, SCADA, Building Management Systems, M&E systems, RTU devices and networking equipment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, passionate about technology, capable of working independently, and highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Willing to travel within Singapore and Johor Malaysia.

Pay: $4,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Engineering / IT: 5 years (Preferred)
