Role Overview

The Field Executive (Livestock) will be responsible for managing and supervising day-to-day livestock-related field operations. This role involves coordination with field workers, mandi/haat personnel, caretakers, and transport teams to ensure smooth, disciplined, and compliant operations as per company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities Field Operations Management

• Supervise daily livestock field activities including movement, holding, and handling
• Ensure proper discipline and workflow among field labour and caretakers
• Monitor cleanliness, basic welfare, and safety practices during operations

Mandi / Haat Coordination

• Coordinate with mandi/haat labour, brokers, and caretakers
• Ensure transactions and operations are carried out only within approved limits
• Handle field-level discussions and resolve minor disputes professionally

Buying & Selling Oversight

• Ensure all buying and selling activities follow company-approved pricing and instructions
• Prevent unauthorized commitments or decisions at the field level
• Report any unusual market behavior or risks to management

Team Supervision

• Manage livestock caretakers and temporary mandi labour
• Assign duties and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Act as the point of control between management and field workers

Transport & Movement Supervision

• Coordinate livestock loading and unloading
• Ensure safe and compliant transportation practices
• Verify that animals reach destinations without loss or mishandling

Reporting & Communication

• Provide daily field updates to management (verbal or written)
• Report labour issues, delays, losses, or operational challenges
• Maintain basic records related to field activities

Who Can ApplyPreferred Background

• Experience in livestock, dairy, poultry, meat trade, fish markets, or agriculture field operations
• OR experience as a field supervisor, yard supervisor, transport supervisor, or operations supervisor
• Prior experience handling labour and ground-level workers is mandatory

Skills Required

• Strong field control and discipline management skills
• Ability to handle difficult people calmly and firmly
• Basic understanding of numbers and pricing discipline
• Good communication skills (Hindi required; Bengali preferred)
• Willingness to work in haat/mandi environments

Education

• No specific degree required
• Practical field experience will be given priority over qualifications

Other Requirements

• Willing to travel locally for field operations
• Comfortable working flexible hours based on haat/mandi timings
• Honest, reliable, and capable of taking responsibility

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
