Position Overview
The Field Sales Representative for Oil & Gas Services plays a vital role in driving the growth and profitability of our organization. This position is responsible for building strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our suite of oil and gas services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients in the oil and gas sector.
· Identify new sales opportunities and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and site visits.
· Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service with clients.
· Collaborate with technical and operational, sales, management, and marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform sales strategies.
· Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and documentation for management.
· Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance company visibility.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all company products and services.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
· 5+ years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry or related technical services.
· Strong understanding of oil and gas operations, processes, and challenges.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proven negotiation and closing skills.
· Willingness to travel frequently to client sites, industry events, offices, and anywhere customers are located.
· Valid driver’s license.
