Ready to be the face of Toronto’s top home-service business? As a junior sales manager for Shine Windows, you’ll be responsible for selling window cleaning, pressure washing, and gutter cleaning to homeowners. This is NOT a casual job you can just walk into and expect to win with minimal effort.

The Company:
Shine Windows is a 6 year old startup created by two graduates after they realized that university did not guarantee them a promising career. They noticed that home maintenance was a broken industry for both customers and employees, so they decided to start their own business and do something about it. Today, there are 40 people on the team.
Day to Day in the role:
You’ll take charge of your own pipeline from lead to closed deal, turning initial conversations into recurring business opportunities. Your day-to-day will involve reaching out to existing and new customers, understanding their needs, and demonstrating how Shine can help solve their problems. Your daily schedule will change throughout the seasons.
Mid January-March: You will be contacting both warm and cold leads. In the afternoons, you will join the door-to-door sales team by generating leads and learning how to qualify customers. In the mornings and early evenings, you will contact existing customers to book recurring work for the season. 40% of our revenue comes from calling existing clients.
March-November: You will close deals with existing customers over the phone and book new customers by scheduling times to meet them at their home for in person estimates. Since homeowners tend to be at work during the day, we work around their schedules by meeting them when they are home in the evening and on weekends.
November-mid December: Most selling is over the phone
Mid December - Mid January: Vacation
When you are not on the phone with customers, you will be communicating with other departments to ensure your customers are receiving top-tier service.

Responsibilities:
- Minimum hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Available weekends 8 AM - 4 PM to meet clients at their home for in-person sales when they are home from work
- Call past clients from our list, provide pricing, and re-sell them annual work
- Call new leads and sell small jobs over the phone
- Take clients through the qualification process
- Assist with data input into CRM
- Learn door-to-door sales and assist in training rest of team
- Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships
- Move prospects into closed deals
- Maintain a clear, up to date pipeline in the CRM
- Follow up with potential clients
- Educate prospects from an expert perspective
- Allow head of sales to shadow calls and give feedback
- Collaborate with team to ensure smooth transitions along customer journey
Results:
- All prospects move along CRM pipeline correctly with proper admin
- A close rate of 75% or higher at in person estimates is maintained
- All qualified leads are followed up with indefinitely
- Sales stats are updated daily by 6 PM
- Effective and prompt communication to team
- Follow internal communication processes
- Reply to emails, slacks, texts within 3 hours, 7 days a week
Requirements
- Must have your own vehicle - you will be driving to sites within GTA
- Must have laptop/cell phone with data
- This role will vary between in person and work from home throughout the year
- 2+ years of sales experience
- Excellent communicator over phone/in person
- Routine driven
- Want to grow rapidly and challenge yourself
- Work autonomously and independently
- You must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure/stress, have a sense of urgency and pride in workmanship
