Field Service Engineer - Laboratory Diagnostics

We’re offering a unique hybrid Field Services Expert role combining technical field engineering services with clinical applications support.

Great opportunity for someone from biomedical or field engineering who’s ready for a change.

You’ll receive extensive hands-on training in Australia and internationally and support a portfolio of pathology laboratory diagnostic systems across the VIC/TAS region

Your role:

• Visiting customer sites across VIC/TAS which include public/private hospitals and laboratories.
• Engineering support (80%) - Perform installations, preventative maintenance, upgrades and corrective services
• Applications support (20%)- Deliver application training, workflow optimisation and ongoing customer support
• Build strong customer relationships to improve system performance and patient outcomes
• Work closely with internal teams and share customer insights to support product improvements
• Adhere to all EHS and compliance requirements

Your expertise:

• The successful candidate will be trade qualified or university trained
• Happy to work autonomously when trained
• Hold an unrestricted driver’s licence
• Able to travel across state, interstate and overseas.
• Be able to provide evidence of your permanent work rights in Australia.
