About you

If you are ready to take your next career step with a global team that is energizing the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future, then we are seeking your experience in the following;

Qualified Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation trade OR degree qualified Mechanical, Electrical or Controls Engineer with industry experience.

Some skills you may have:

Good technical knowledge of rotating equipment and/or PLC systems.

Strong customer focus and customer service skills.
Good communication skills with the ability to write clear technical reports.
Computer literate (MS Office experience).
Gas Turbine, Power Generation and Gas Compression experience.
Oil and Gas industry experience.
Allen Bradley PLC experience

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be the technical focal point at customer sites across the East Coast of Australia, NZ & PNG.

On site, you may be doing anything from troubleshooting to commissioning projects, service and maintenance inspections to equipment removal and installation of Solar Turbines’ range of turbo-machinery products (Gas Turbines, Compressor Sets, Generator sets).

Of course, you’ll also be responsible for:

Ensuring maintenance services and installation support adheres to relevant specifications and standards.
Utilising sound judgment when analysing problems, with little to no supervision to solve issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Performing preventive/corrective maintenance.
Assisting in a technical manner with customer operations and maintenance crews.
Providing detailed and technical reports to various stakeholders.
Ensuring customer expectations are always met or exceeded.
Complying with Solar Turbines’ and clients’ HSSE policies and procedures.
