Position Summary

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our service team. In this role, you’ll perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Apache Sprayers and other application equipment both in the shop and at customer sites. You’ll also support sales staff with equipment demos and trade shows.

This is a mobile technician position, with about 70% of the work performed in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, service, and repairs on agricultural equipment and precision ag products
• Provide outstanding customer service while troubleshooting in the field
• Participate in ongoing service training to build skills and product knowledge
• Conduct or support customer clinics and demos
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory
• Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and organized
• Accurately complete all required reports, forms, and documentation
• Follow all safety rules and procedures

Job Requirements

• Experience repairing agricultural equipment or precision ag products
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to work independently with excellent organizational skills
• Effective communication skills with customers and teammates
• Computer literacy for diagnostics and reporting
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable attendance and ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Work Schedule & Travel

• Hours:
• Off-season: 40–50 hours per week, Monday–Friday
• In-season: 60+ hours per week, including some Saturdays
• Travel:
• Regular statewide travel to customer sites
• Occasional overnight stays (1–2 nights at a time, during peak season)
• Training opportunities may require 3–4 weeks of travel annually after initial training

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor work in varied weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, sun)
• Physical demands include lifting parts over 50 lbs., standing, bending, and reaching daily
