Position Summary The Lab Manager oversees and manages the laboratory operations, ensuring all quality assurance tests on company products are conducted accurately and efficiently. This role involves supervising lab technicians, coordinating laboratory activities, and preparing comprehensive laboratory reports prior to product application on location. Key Accountabilities Manages the quality control testing of well stimulation and cementing fluid systems and additives to verify requested designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Provides guidance to Lab Technicians in the selection and design of advanced stimulation and cementing fluids, supporting quality and efficiency in testing protocols. Oversees the preparation, operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring adherence to company standards. Coordinates pre-test and pre-job tasks to prepare analytical support for field operations. Ensures that laboratory conditions are clean, organized, and safe, maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safety. Supervises the documentation and reporting of laboratory data related to field testing of new technology, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance. Attends and contributes to safety and operational improvement meetings, as well as location quality improvement meetings, supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Manages monthly chemical inventory tracking and maintains a detailed daily log-in book for laboratory activities. Ensures compliance with all company and government-mandated safe work practices and environmental regulations. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Detail-oriented with strong communication skills (both written and oral). Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word and Excel, for reporting and tracking data. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a proactive approach to managing laboratory operations. Clear and concise communicator, able to facilitate information flow within the team and with other departments. Commitment to safety and quality, ensuring all laboratory activities comply with company and environmental standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining the quality and safety standards of our laboratory operations, ensuring that all testing and procedures meet the company's high standards for performance and compliance. Minimum Required Education Associate's Degree- Required Minimum Required Work Experience Minimum of 2 years- Required
