We are looking for a Field Test Technician to the Development Unit where you will work with an exciting mix of agriculture and technology including be a part of hardware development of next generation of assortment.
About the job

In this role you will be planning and coordinate parallel test activities within our projects, perform hardware tests and report test results to projects and stakeholders within DeLaval to ensure we develop good products for the future.
A big part in this role is to carry out field tests at our test farms (mainly in Sweden), in close cooperation with end customers, the farms. For some of the field tests we have Hamra farm next door to our office. We also perform tests in our own lab facilities.
You need to be able to work independently as well as in a team and much of the work is hands on. You should have a structured way of working, take initiative, prioritizing tasks and drive the test assignments.
Qualifications and experience

- Agricultural technologist, agronomist degree or experience from dairy farm or similar.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
- Driver’s license Good knowledge in Microsoft 365 and computer skills
You have strong communication skills and take responsibility with the confidence to act and make decisions independently. You enjoy working both as part of a team and on your own, bringing a structured approach to planning and organizing tasks. With a collaborative mindset and problem-solving abilities, you contribute to finding effective solutions and driving progress.

This is a full-time permanent position based at DeLaval’s headquarters in Tumba, south of Stockholm. This position is part of the Animal Intelligence & Milking Points team and reports to the Test Manager within AI&MP V&V. Traveling regularly to our test farms is part of the role.
