Description:
Liberty Industrial is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a FIFO Trainee Oxy Cutter. This full-time, permanent position FIFO, with the opportunity for candidates from Brisbane or Darwin to apply. The role offers an exciting opportunity to develop practical skills in oxy cutting within a dynamic project environment. The primary responsibilities and tasks for this role include:

• Participating in on-the-job training to learn oxy cutting techniques and safety procedures
• Assisting experienced oxy cutters with preparations and set-up for cutting operations
• Operating oxy cutting equipment under supervision, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area, including proper storage of tools and equipment
• Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations at the worksite
• Reporting any technical issues or hazards to senior team members promptly
• Contributing to a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration with colleagues
• Willingness to work on a fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) roster of 3 weeks on, 1 week off from either Brisbane or Darwin
