Lomography is a globally active organization dedicated to experimental and creative analogue photography. Originally established in 1992 by a group of offbeat students as an art movement, but fuelled by fiery passion and burning curiosity, the Lomographic Society soon grew to become the creative and innovative international company it is today.

We develop, market and distribute our products via worldwide photo stores, design stores, museums and lifestyle stores, as well as via our Lomography websites available in 17 languages which besides the online shop also host photo magazines and platforms for an international community of over one million Lomographers. Lomography regularly hosts events and exhibitions. The Lomography headquarters is in Vienna and has subsidiaries in London, Paris, NY, Tokyo, HK, Shanghai and Manila.

For our headquarters in Vienna we are offering an internship in Finance & Administration. In this very interesting role, you will be part of our dynamic international Finance and Administration team and get the chance to gain practical knowledge and valuable experience from your colleagues in controlling, accounting, logistics, IT and other departments.

Learning Objectives and Tasks

  • Developing an understanding of how ERP and reporting systems function

  • Maintaining master data in IT systems (customers, prices, orders, etc.)

  • Learning operational routines in ERP systems

  • Participating in the creation and evaluation of reports, processing ad-hoc analyses and target/actual comparisons

  • Working with large datasets and "big data" for analysis

  • Recognizing and understanding business relationships within the company

  • Cost analyses and research on cost-related issues

  • Accounting tasks (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank accounting; account and balance reconciliation)


Your Profile

  • Starting a degree in economics or business informatics

  • Ideally with a focus on accounting or logistics

  • Very good IT skills (MS Excel, Word, various web-based applications) and a strong affinity for numbers

  • Very good English skills

  • Interest in a creative and intercultural environment
