Job Description:

We are seeking a Finance Analyst for the Asia Pacific Exterprise Functions FP&A team, based in Singapore.

This role presents an opportunity for the candidate to work closely with cross-sector functional leaders and business partners such as in IT, Finance, HR and Procurement.

We are looking for a talent who has a growth mindset and is open to progressing their career in different aspects of finance within J&J as they develop themselves professionally. We are looking for individuals who are technically strong, well-articulated, can work independently with various stakeholders and have the confidence to work with senior leaders. The individual should ideally have a can-do attitude, agile mindset and is able to function in an ambiguous environment.

The responsibilities for this role include:

• Provide end-to-end support for designated function for the Asia Pacific region

o Overall forecasting, planning and actual analysis

• Annual budget and update cycles activities
• Work closely with global, regional and local business partners to manage the planning cycles
• Work with country partners to identify local budget needs
• Regional consolidation and responsible for reviewing and providing financial and business analysis to regional leaders

o Decision support analysis

• Conduct financial, accounting or planning analysis in budget and forecast
• Challenges business assumptions, help to develop alternative scenarios or what if analysis
• Educates business partners on financial issues, concepts and ownership

o Quarter close and standard reporting

• Review quarterly results with business partners and identify risks & opportunities for the entire region

• Provide monthly/quarterly close operational support activities for the Global Functions FP&A team. This includes coordinating intercompany transactions and other monthly/quarterly close related activities.
• Support monthly/quarterly IT fixed assets processes and reporting and ad-hoc audit and fixed asset counts
• Subject Matter Expert for account to report activities
• Drive clearly defined global projects
• Others

o Supports continuous improvement activities

o Ensure policies and procedures are followed
