Finance Analyst - Europe

JOB TITLE: Senior Finance Analyst - Europe

REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer - Europe

DIRECT REPORTS: 0

LOCATION: Madrid, Spain

PURPOSE:

Primarily responsible for revenue assurance of PTI in Europe and will support other finance, accounting and tax responsibilities.

FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for bill-to-cash cycle activities of European operating entities
• Prepare customer invoices, review and extract customer master data, confirm period of billing and service charges.
• Consider issuing proforma and obtaining validation prior to issuing final invoice, to help guarantee timely collection
• Account for revenue in the appropriate D365 ledger and prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Work with Leasing department to help maintain our service database SiteTracker accurate and complete
• Research, gather and provide supporting documentation and explanations to customers
• Suppport the country finance team in its collection activties, helps planning and forecasting of revenue
• Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing and interpreting data and reporting to matrix
• Fulfills the mission of finance and PTI organization by performing additional finance and accounting tasks

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Position works in a normal office environment. Standing, sitting, and walking required daily. Job may involve occasional local travel.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in general finance are required
• Must have solid Excel skills as well as experience with other MS Office suite products such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Knowledge of Microsoft AX is a plus
• Practical knowledge of financial accounting and financial reporting standards
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written
• Strong financial, analytical and communication skills
• Experience operating in a multinational environment is a plus
