Description of the role: We’re seeking a Finance Analyst (FP&A) to join our Finance team. In this role you’ll play a key part in shaping our financial strategy, guiding investment decisions, and ensuring compliance in a dynamic business environment.

What makes you ‘just right’:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
  • CA or CPA qualification.
2+ years’ experience, ideally in a medium to large company.
  • Experience in a professional services firm is preferable but not essential.
Proficient financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey financial insights and recommendations to various stakeholders.
Proficiency in preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, developing and maintaining dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Willingness to develop financial modelling skills.
  • Technically strong with the use of financial software tools such as Excel, Power BI and Xero and a drive to continually want to upskill in these products and discover and learn new products.
What your day might look like:
Conduct financial analysis, modelling, and scenario planning to support strategic decisions, including investment and equity management.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance reports, highlighting trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.

Support month-end and year-end processes, ensuring accurate reconciliations and financial reporting.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to business leaders, partnering closely with internal stakeholders.

Contribute to M&A evaluations, investment planning, and risk assessment activities.

Mentor junior finance staff and support team development through training and KPI tracking.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, including ESG and the Modern Slavery Act 2018.
