Finance Business Partner for Ramboll
Espoo, Finland

You will join Business Finance Finland
Business Finance delivers business partnering, project controlling and financial project support to all Ramboll’s Markets operating in Finland. Furthermore, we support our global setup across countries and work close together with our global setup both in Finance and in the Business.
We work in different teams, based on customer market, expertise, or internal stakeholders. Our keywords are job-satisfaction, independence, responsibility, and knowledge sharing, which all contribute to the personal development of each individual employee.
Majority of our Business Finance team work in our head office in Espoo. You will be part of our international Buildings market team and report to our Business Finance Director for Buildings. Your workplace will be Espoo.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Single Point of contact in Business Finance for Service Line Directors in your area

Proactively challenge and improve commercial decisions through enhanced business advisory, such as
- Contribute to Business Development/Sales, tendering, and commercial pipeline / orderbook
- Data driven controlling and benchmarking across business units
- Cost controlling and cost management
- Ensure correct revenue recognition on projects together with Senior Project Controller
- Monitor business performance KPIs including follow-up on working capital management
- Ensure Ramboll’s Financial Compliance in your area
- Drive budgeting and forecasting process and ensure adequacy of Line Management reporting
- Contribute actively to the development of Ramboll’s Business Finance function.
Your background:
- Finance Business Partner experience from a project-oriented Organization
- A relevant master’s degree e.g., Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration, Master of Economics, Chartered Management Accountant or similar
- You have more than 5 years relevant professional experience
- English, spoken as well as written, is a prerequisite
- Proven track record of stakeholder management (internal & external), ability to take initiative and work independently
Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role including - you are self-driven and take responsibility for the controlling agenda in your area. You have a business focused approach and structure information to meet the needs and understanding for the intended audience. You make rational judgments from the available information and analysis. You establish timely assessment of risk and opportunities and transform these into high quality recommendations or solutions.
