We are currently seeking an individual to join our client's team as a 'Facilities Technical Team Lead' based in Dublin (South).

The Role

  • Supervise and manage a team of subcontractors responsible for the service and maintenance of mechanical/HVAC/electrical systems, as well as building fabric including carpentry and flooring.
  • Take ownership of the asset care strategy, annual PPM program, order planning and scheduling, reactive/corrective task management, and project work to ensure exceptional technical service delivery.
  • Plan and schedule all reactive and maintenance tasks using the Enterprise Level Technology System every week. Conduct weekly planning meetings with the contract team to optimise resource allocation and task activities, driving productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain daily communication with both the team and customers to ensure efficient work package management aligned with KPIs, maximising service delivery efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns of electrical and mechanical plants.
  • Escalate technical submissions as necessary for management review.
  • Review and approve contractor invoices, ensuring completion of works.
  • Conduct detailed service inspections and ensure timely execution, documentation, and efficiency.
  • Manage an enterprise-level technology solution for all facilities management services, including EHS, compliance, maintenance, reactive and soft services requests, quotations, invoicing, vendor control, and training.
  • Work collaboratively within the team to deliver best-in-class service and maintenance, planned and reactive asset care, customer-centric task coordination, and schedule management.
  • Assist management with financial budget preparation across the organisation.
  • Provide maintenance support, update equipment records, and generate performance reports while implementing continuous improvement initiatives across the FM function.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of all service and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date statutory recordkeeping.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in Mechanical/HVAC/Electrical technical services, with a focus on contractor management, GMP audits, SOP development, and quality management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for fostering productive working relationships.
  • Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively under time pressure.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices and knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Customer-focused approach, dedicated to delivering exceptional service to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ability to contribute actively to a positive team environment and adapt flexibly to changing needs.
  • Attention to detail in executing work accurately and completely.
  • Experience in conducting GMP audits and proficiency in developing SOPs for streamlined operations.
  • Proficient in IT and MS Office tools.
  • A 3rd level qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From €75,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Financial management: 10 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Accountancy qualification with full professional membership (required)
