Skills and Experiences:
Access Hardware is seeking a hands-on Finance Officer to join our National Finance Team. This all-rounder role is central to the smooth operation of our finance function, managing Accounts Payable, supplier reconciliations, and invoice processing across multiple entities. You’ll gain exposure to automation systems, month-end support, and supplier dispute resolution—making this a great opportunity to build a long-term career with a business that truly values its people.
About the Role
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Support the preparation of accurate month-end and year-end financials
- Complete bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies
- Raise credit requests and work with Sales and suppliers to resolve issues
- Maintain Supplier Query Application and monitor outstanding Purchase Orders across branches
- Provide a high-quality internal service and timely reporting
- Process non-trade and international invoices in D365 and Oracle
- Accurately allocate invoices to GL accounts and ensure correct authorisation
- Maintain supplier records and manage new supplier account setups
- Process company credit card and staff expense claims
- Collaborate with Sales and Warehouse teams to resolve pricing/quantity issues
- Provide backup support for the Assistant Accountant during peak periods and leave
- A strong desire to learn, grow, and take ownership of your work
Strong attention to detail and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment
