Description:
What will I be doing?

You will help drive the transformation of a number of legacy custom code applications into Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations and Power Platform. This will set the basis for global expansion into Europe and Asia. This is a high-impact, hands-on role suited to finance systems analyst who thrives on defining requirements, overseeing strong designs and getting things done.

As the Finance Systems Analyst, you will understand the business objectives and needs of the existing legacy applications and translate these to clear requirements for a vendor to implement in Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations and Power Platform. You will be work directly with a small team of internal ERP experts to guide a vendor in implementing this transformation. The role is internally facing with internal stakeholders and vendor resources.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough needs analysis with key stakeholders to understand current business processes and data flows, and identify areas for improvement using Dynamics F&O and Power Platform.
Lead workshops and engage stakeholders to extract requirements and to confirm fit-for-purpose solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to map business requirements to Dynamics 365 capabilities.
Develop business requirements, functional specs, process flows, data maps, user stories and acceptance criteria, and change plans.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for system customisations, integrations, and configurations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Power Platform.
Translate these detailed functional and technical specifications into Statements of Work for a vendor to quote and deliver against.
Develop data migration strategies to transfer existing data into the Dynamics F&O and Power Platform.
Assess Dynamics F&O and Power Platform solutions ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
Collaborate with developers, consultants, and project managers to design and implement solutions that deliver fit-for-purpose solutions vs business requirements.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.

Skills and Experiences:
We’re looking for someone who:
5+ years of Finance Systems/Business Analyst experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and Power Platform, including customising forms, workflows, reports and ERP process automation and integration.
Proven experience in Financial ERP rollout projects, preferably AP/AR/GL/Bank Modules.
Strong understanding of ERP system architecture, data models, and business processes.
Accounting experience or CPA qualified
Strong Analytical Skills - Proven ability to gather, analyse, and interpret complex business requirements, and translate them into technical solutions effectively
Problem Solving - Outstanding problem-solving skills and willing to get involved in the detail and be hands-on (be it in design or in technical configuration activities).
Excellent Stakeholder Management and Communication Skills - Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, acting as a point of contact between technical teams and business users to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
In-Depth Knowledge of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform - Hands-on experience with translating business requirements into solution in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
Attention to Detail and Quality Assurance - Guiding the UAT testing to ensuring solutions align with business requirements and are fit for purpose.
Project Management - Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks during critical phases of the ERP rollout and lead projects from inception to completion.
Agility - Ability to operate in fast moving team environment delivering to tight schedules in a demanding technical environment.
