About the Opportunity
Deloitte Consulting offers diverse career opportunities for individuals with experience in Business Finance projects, specifically in areas such as Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and performance analysis. These are challenging and fulfilling opportunities with the potential to develop your range of skills significantly.
You will be a key member of client service teams helping companies to enable their finance teams to create and manage their business strategy. The role will cover a variety of projects including: Designing and executing intelligent planning and forecasting solutions using technology solutions and AI, Optimisation and Simplification of Financial Planning and Analysis reporting, design and implement operating model changes. We value strong business finance process knowledge, experience with FP&A technologies, problem solving skills, project management, analytics capability adaptability, and the ability to remain logical in ambiguous situations.
About the role:
Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver and manage finance transformation projects in one or more of the following areas:-
- Business Finance Process Optimisation and Simplification in areas such as:
- Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Finance and Business Performance Analysis
- Finance Business Partnering
- Advise on and implement, Technology improvements and end to end solutions, working with clients and vendor teams.
- Strategic Finance and Performance Management.
- Providing quality advice to clients based on experience and leading industry practice.
- Project management and business development.
- Finance Operating model design and implementation.

About you:
- Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, including process optimisation, automation projects or a significant role in large scale finance a transformation project in the Consumer Industry.
- Experience in Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting tools, e.g. Anaplan, SAP, OneStream, preferable.
- Qualified accountant with ACA, CIMA or other accounting qualification desirable, and a strong academic record.
- Extensive post-qualification experience.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence. The ability to develop good working relationships is critical.
- Ability to effectively balance a number of tasks, work to deadlines, and produce quality deliverables.
- Takes initiative and a proactive approach, balanced with strong business acumen.
