To support our continued expansion, we are seeking both experienced and aspiring qualified Financial Advisors to join our team.
The Role
As a Financial Advisor with PPFS, you will primarily service an established portfolio of clients, ensuring their financial plans are regularly reviewed and kept up-to-date. You will manage existing client files with meticulous attention to compliance, maintaining records in line with financial regulations and company policies.
Your remaining time will involve new business development – independently introducing new clients and opportunities to PPFS through networking and referrals, and contributing to our continued growth.

You will be joining a team that values doing things the right way: all advice and sales processes must adhere to established regulatory and professional standard requirements, with a strong emphasis on ethics and compliance.
You will have full back-office support, including pre-sales preparation, application processing, pipeline management, and compliance oversight. As an Investment and Insurance Intermediary, PPFS provides access to a broad range of life, pension, and investment products across the Irish market. This means you can offer truly tailored solutions from a wide array of providers to best meet your clients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Servicing: Proactively manage and service an existing portfolio of clients, enhancing long-term relationships and ensuring they receive the full benefits of the PPFS advisory process. Provide ongoing reviews and comprehensive financial planning across all relevant areas (protection, retirement planning, investments, etc.), with an emphasis on quality advice and excellent customer service.
Compliance & File Management: Ensure that all advice given and client documentation are maintained in strict compliance with Central Bank of Ireland regulations, the Consumer Protection Code, and internal policy standards. Maintain detailed records of recommendations and actions, upholding the highest professional standards in every case.
New Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to generate new business, including leveraging existing client referrals and networking to introduce new customers to PPFS. Aiming to grow your portfolio while maintaining a high standard of service for your existing clients.
Performance & Targets: You will be responsible for the development and meeting of challenging performance targets and contributing to PPFS’s growth objectives. Using your initiative (with support from management when needed), you will drive results and continuously seek ways to expand and improve our client relationships.
Financial Solutions Expertise: Provide holistic financial planning and advice tailored to each client’s needs. Our advisors offer guidance on a wide range of services including life insurance, income protection, company and personal pension schemes, retirement planning, savings & investments, specified illness cover, and wealth management. You will stay up-to-date on product options and industry trends to deliver the best solutions for your clients.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for financial advisor who can hit the ground running and deliver exceptional service to our clients whilst working with an experienced team of advisors, administrators and management. The ideal candidate will have:
Experience: Approximately 4+ years of experience in the life insurance, pensions, and investments industry in Ireland, with exposure to pension schemes and wealth management advice considered a strong advantage.
Qualifications: Full QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser) certification is required. You also meet all Central Bank of Ireland regulatory requirements for a financial advisor, including the Fitness & Probity standards, the Minimum Competency Code, and you are committed to fulfilling your ongoing CPD obligations.
Client Focus & Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are a must. You are client-focused, able to build trust and rapport with a diverse range of customers, and dedicated to providing top-tier service and advice at all times.
Compliance Mindset: Strong knowledge of industry compliance standards and a disciplined approach to following regulatory guidelines in your daily work. You understand the importance of ethics, accuracy, and transparency in financial advising.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications (Word, Excel, CRM systems) to manage client information and prepare reports efficiently.
Additional Requirements: A full driving license and your own car, as the role may involve traveling to client meetings when necessary.
