Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial operations and performance reporting in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with senior leadership—including the CFO and Chief Accounting Officer—and play a critical part in driving visibility, cost control, and data-informed decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and production cost data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and organize performance reports and dashboards using key KPIs.
- Evaluate financial metrics to support cost control, forecasting, and efficiency initiatives.
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to assess financial impacts and operational performance.
- Prepare and support monthly financial reporting processes, highlighting trends and actionable insights.
- Review and analyze capital expenditures, depreciation, and lease agreements.
- Examine manufacturing cost drivers including material usage, labor efficiency, and scrap reduction.
- Utilize ERP systems (NetSuite, JD Edwards, SAP, or equivalent) to extract and analyze financial data.
- Contribute to the preparation and analysis of inventory valuations and product costing.
- Assist with strategic financial projects including automation, system enhancements, and reporting optimization.
- Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional leaders with clarity and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, ideally in manufacturing or a highly regulated industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, multi-sheet formulas).
- Experience with Power BI or similar visualization/reporting tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems; NetSuite or other Oracle-based platforms strongly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
Preferred Background
- Prior experience in a pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in KPI development and performance tracking.
- Exposure to continuous improvement and data-driven reporting enhancements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
