We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst Intern to join our finance team during an exciting period of transformation. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making within the dynamic environment of a private bank undergoing innovative change. The exposure to diverse topic, and stringent focus on transmission of knowledge, will ensure a swift learning curve to the candidate.

Key Accountabilities


  • Assist in evaluating the bank's performance by contributing to the preparation of insightful financial reports for internal stakeholders and external stakeholders – i.e. management, Board members, regulators, investors, rating agencies
  • Support the development of insights and understanding of the key performance drivers.
  • Assist in the financial planning and budgeting processes
  • Support the engagement and coordination with stakeholders, including management, investor relations, rating agencies, Board members, and shareholders.
  • Assist in transformation projects to optimize and enhance systems, improve data quality, deepen insights, and support further automation

Knowledge and Experience


  • Master/Bachelor degree in business management, strategy, finance, engineering or science
  • Exposure to IT implementation, such as defining business requirements in the finance domain, is considered an advantage

Attributes and Qualities


  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing, producing commentaries, memoranda, and well-reasoned arguments.
  • Creative and proactive in suggesting innovative ideas and driving improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate reasoning and deliverables effectively.
  • A genuine interest in data and digital topics.

Technical Skills


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
  • Command of IBM TM1 utilisation considered as a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with banking software you may have been exposed to in precedent internships is considered as an advantage

Languages Skills


  • Fluency in English
  • Any other language considered as an advantage
