What you will do
As part of Nasdaq’s wider Communications team, you will be working closely with the Director of Corporate Communications at Nasdaq Helsinki and the global team.

As our back-up to the Director of Communications in Helsinki and aided by the distributed team, your main responsibility is the delivery of high-profile daily media monitoring reports to our senior management and all the Nasdaq people all over the world.

We believe you are a driven and ambitious student that has a genuine interest to finance and communications. Furthermore, you can take the initiative and are not afraid to come up with new insights.

What we expect
  • A minimum of one year of university-level studies in economics, finance, accounting, business administration, or communications
  • A previous experience or understanding of the financial industry is highly beneficial
  • Full proficiency in English both written and spoken
  • A self-starter with flexibility and resilience
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, including in crisis
  • Strong experience with using Microsoft office tools

We see it as a merit if you have been working in a similar business or role before. This is a part-time position based in Helsinki which requires you to work approximately 15-20 hours a week with flexibility during exams. During summer there will be an opportunity to work more hours.
