We welcome an enthusiastic Financial Operations Associate Cash & Collateral to join our team!
The role
You will become part of our Operations team – the beating heart of APG Asset Management – where risk management and regulatory compliance are of paramount importance. Together, we ensure the smooth execution and monitoring of all payments (cash management) and coordinate the use of collateral to minimize risks in financial transactions (collateral management).

In this role, you will work closely with various departments within APG and the back offices of international financial institutions. You will meet clear deadlines, such as cut-off times and stock market opening hours. Additionally, there’s room for personal development. One day a week, you’ll focus on self-improvement and participate in interesting improvement projects.
What you would do
- You will be involved in various operational tasks, such as reconciling accounts, providing cash forecasts, and processing margin calls.
- Along with your colleagues, you will work on projects outside of the daily operations, where you will optimize processes, procedures, and systems.
- You will develop new skills and insights by actively participating in cross-team initiatives.

What you bring
- A master’s degree, preferably in an economic or financial field, though candidates with other educational backgrounds and an affinity for our work area are also invited to apply.
- At least 1 year of work or internship experience, preferably in the financial sector or asset management.
- A curious attitude and an interest in the world of financial markets and investing, where we give you the chance to further develop this knowledge.
- Accuracy and strong communication skills, with openness to collaboration and valuing others’ opinions.
- You take the initiative to get started with tasks, even when the guidelines may not be entirely clear at times.
- Good command of English and the ability to clearly and convincingly convey your ideas.

What we offer you
We will offer you, depending on relevant knowledge and experience, a gross salary in the range of 3528 - 5040 EUR based on full-time employment and great employment conditions aimed at flexibility, such as:
- A guaranteed end of year bonus of 8.33%
