Remote Freelance Opening | Finnish Language Specialists (Translation & Review)

We are actively building a network of skilled Finnish language professionals and are looking to collaborate with experienced Translators and Proofreaders on a freelance basis for current and upcoming projects.

A potential assignment involving business and HR-related content is presently under discussion. Beyond this, we frequently manage multilingual projects across a wide range of industries and are interested in partnering with dependable linguists who are available for project-based work whenever requirements arise.

Candidate Profile

We would love to hear from professionals who have:

• At least 6 months to 1 year of relevant translation, editing, or proofreading experience
• Excellent command of both Finnish and English
• Previous exposure to business, HR, legal, finance, or marketing content (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong linguistic accuracy and attention to detail
• The ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality work consistently
• Willingness to coordinate project updates via WhatsApp
• Interest in developing a long-term freelance association with our team

Compensation Structure

Translation Assignments: USD 0.03 – 0.05 per word

Proofreading / Review Assignments: USD 0.01 – 0.02 per word

The above rates reflect the budgets available for some of our ongoing and anticipated projects. Candidates with different pricing expectations are also welcome to apply, as compensation may vary depending on project scope, client requirements, language complexity, and future opportunities.
