Commercial Fire Alarm Installation Technician – Immediate Hire

We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service & Installation Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position (Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week) with occasional Saturday work. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, reliable, and skilled in installing, servicing, and troubleshooting commercial fire alarm systems.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturdays)
• Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (Based on experience and skill level)
• Start Date: Immediate
• Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in fire alarm installation/service
• Transportation: A work vehicle will be provided

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and inspect commercial fire alarm systems.
• Run wiring in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas (may include drilling/trenching).
• Complete wiring, connections, and installations, ensuring full system functionality.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of newly installed systems and devices.
• Diagnose and repair fire alarm equipment and components.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable fire codes, standards, and laws.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance (including work vehicle).
• Follow all safety procedures and complete work with professionalism.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and follow detailed scope of work instructions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in commercial fire alarm installation and service.
• Proficiency with common fire alarm panels, including Silent Knight, Notifier, Fire-Lite, etc.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing various fire alarm systems.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working both independently and in a team.
• Clean background and driving record required.

Preferred Attributes

• NICET certification or equivalent (a plus, not required)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
