Introduction:
Horsham Rural City Council is a vibrant municipality located approximately 300 kilmoetres north-west of Melbourne. The majority of its 19,880 residents are located in Horsham, a hub for health care, niche retail, education and schooling, community services, arts, sports and culture.

Description:
About the role

This role will engage with and support the communities, individuals and businesses impacted by the January 2026 fire event. The role will be responsible for developing strong relationships with other support agencies to ensure that the community can access the services and information that enables their recovery needs.

Skills and Experiences:
About you

You are practical, approachable and able to build strong working relationships across the community, local businesses and service providers.

You communicate clearly, use sound judgement and support people to navigate recovery at their own pace.

Relevant qualifications are desirable; however, demonstrated experience, initiative and strong interpersonal skills will be highly regarded.

A current Victorian Driver's licence is also required.
