Fire Sprinkler Fitter (Minor Works)

Argus Fire Protection is a well-known New Zealand company with over 40 years' of experience in the fire protection industry. We cover all aspects, including fire system design, installation, and ongoing testing and maintenance of fire systems.

We are looking for an experienced sprinkler fitter who is keen to utilise their existing skills and
keen to grow and develop further. As a sprinkler minor works fitter you will have a variety of work available from large construction projects, to floor fit-outs to specialised equipment replacements e.g. fire pumps.

Essential is your ability to take ownership of the delivery of a project. You will be empowered to
self-manage and provide leadership to the team but working closely with project management
support available to guide and be called upon to ensure the best delivery.

What we're looking for:

A proven track record as a lead technician running projects and teams is strongly desired and while not essential preference will be given to a candidate who has the ability to work on wet
systems if required.

Excellent communication skills
Someone who works strategically has an eye for detail and is results-oriented.
You will have worked in the service industry for some time and be familiar with the regulations and installation techniques
A high standard of Health & Safety, workmanship, and ethics
Being a positive, willing, contributing, and adaptable member of the team
Ability to work to deadlines and meet promises.
Strong customer service
Team player who will relish a challenge and understand the importance of being active and positive participants in a high
performing team environment
