As a Fire Sprinkler Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and servicing of fire sprinkler systems, clean agent systems, and special hazard fire protection systems. Your role is critical in ensuring customer compliance with NFPA codes and maintaining the reliability of life safety systems when they’re needed most.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance on various fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems, in commercial and industrial environments.
* Conduct service and inspections for clean agent and special hazard fire suppression systems.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
* Educate customers on system operation, code compliance, and preventive maintenance best practices.
* Accurately complete and maintain documentation in accordance with NFPA guidelines and company procedures.
* Manage daily tasks and scheduling efficiently, delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Ensure all work meets safety regulations, NFPA codes, and company quality standards.
* Properly maintain company-issued tools, equipment, and vehicle.
**Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
* NICET Level I or higher in Sprinkler Inspection & Testing is a strong advantage.
* Solid understanding of NFPA codes and fire protection system components.
* Self-motivated with excellent time management and customer service skills.
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
