What You’ll Do:

• Lead large, custom steel fabrication projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
• Interpret engineered drawings and blueprints to fabricate a variety of structures to exacting tolerances
• Operate and set up standard fabrication machinery and tooling safely and efficiently
• Perform advanced welding techniques, including SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and air carbon arc gouging
• Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and company safety protocols
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production deadlines and project goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Completion of High School diploma or equivalent
• CWB Certification and/or Trade Certification
• 5+ years of experience as a First Class/Advanced steel fitter
• Expertise in reading and interpreting welding blueprints, structural drawings, and welding symbols
• Strong knowledge of welding industry standards, concepts, and practices
• Certified Forklift and/or Crane Operator credentials are a strong asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to health & safety regulations
