Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Fitness Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness and exercise science, with the ability to educate clients on proper equipment use and maintenance. This role is essential in ensuring that all fitness equipment is functioning optimally, providing a safe and effective workout environment for our members.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of fitness equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines, and free weights.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed on equipment.
- Stay updated on the latest technology and equipment advancements.
- Travel to and from job sites. Company vehicle will be provided.
Skills
- Experience in health club environments or similar settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with group fitness dynamics and sports coaching techniques is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and gym members.
- A passion for promoting health and wellness through proper equipment use and maintenance.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
