Our Head Office is based on the Central Coast, New South Wales with additional depots located in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Townsville, Perth and Hobart. We have been operating for almost 40 years and employ over 250 people.
About the role
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintenance and servicing of general and specialised road construction equipment and trucks. Including, major overhauls and motor rebuilds as well as workshop related administrative duties.
Description:
Duties
Ability to work unsupervised
A commitment to safe work practices producing quality workmanship within the required timeframe;
Be available to travel throughout North Queensland and possibly interstate
Performing field service and breakdown work at Local and Remote Client Locations
Ability to work various hours depending on work load as required
Well-developed communication skills along with a team-oriented outlook.
Skills & Experience
Australian Recognised relevant trade certificates and qualifications (heavy vehicle mechanic qualifications essential);
Maintenance and Servicing experience on small and large equipment
Previous experience working in planned and reactive maintenance environments, diagnosis, overhaul and maintenance repairs of heavy mobile plant and equipment.
Current unrestricted MR Australian Drivers Licence (HR or HC license is preferred)
