Flagger

We are looking for local Flaggers in Hickory, NC to join our Traffic Control team.

For this role, we need individuals to safely direct traffic as well as handle any problems that may arise during a workday.

Responsibilities

• Helping the lead set up signs for the work that needs to be done;
• Communicating with the lead via paddle talk or radios (provided);
• Making sure you are safe and following MUTCD guidelines on the job;
• Following safety rules, regulations, and procedures is mandatory;
• Be flexible and able to take and follow orders in an independent or group setting.

Requirements

• Currently located in Hickory, NC;
• Must have a valid and current Flaggers Card (ATSSA preferred);
• Reliable transportation to get to the yard;
• Be presentable on the job (no rag-tag clothes, torn gear, etc.);
• Ability to perform in adverse weather conditions;
• Must be willing to work long hours when required, some weekends and possibly night work.

Experience:

• Traffic Control: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Flagger/Traffic Control Certificate (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Preferred)
