Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing installation and repair, with a strong understanding of various roofing materials and techniques. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of roofing projects while adhering to industry standards.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain roofs using various materials such as TPO,EPDM,BUR,SBS
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
• Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials and tools on job sites.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing roofing materials.
• Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and insulation of roofs.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete roofing projects efficiently.
• Conduct inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
• Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in roofing tasks.
• Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing joints and gaps effectively.
• A background in carpentry is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
• Must be able to work at heights safely and follow all safety guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

• Bonus pay
• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
