Join a reputable and well established roofing company that has been proudly serving the Niagara Region for over 30 years. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Flat Roofing Service Manager to lead and grow our service department. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily service operations, managing service teams, and delivering top-quality work and customer service in all aspects of the flat roofing repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and support a team of flat roofing service technicians.
  • Receive, access, and prioritize service requests: schedule and dispatch crews accordingly.
  • Diagnose roofing issues, recommend effective solutions, and provide accurate repair quotes.
  • Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of service calls, materials used, work performed, and client interactions.
  • Monitor and manage service inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure availability and functionality.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships: respond promptly to concerns and ensure satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to promote service contracts and upsell additional services.
  • Track and control department expenses to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, new products, and best practices in flat roofing systems.
  • Enforce adherence to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with extensive knowledge of flat roofing systems and repair methods.
  • At least 2 years of experience specifically in roofing service work.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or management role within roofing or construction is strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Windows and Office 365 computer applications.
  • Working knowledge of job management software.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Solid understanding of workplace safety regulations and procedures.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
