Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to various locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving is required, with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Experience in freight handling is essential; familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques is beneficial for maintaining vehicle performance.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
