Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced fleet maintenance scheduler to oversee daily operations within our maintenance shop. The ideal candidate will possess strong heavy duty mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with a minimum of 1-2 years experience. This role is crucial for ensuring that all shop activities run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining high-quality standards. A must have neat appearance also have the ability to interact with our drivers to schedule PMI services and mechanic schedules. Must have computer skills along with typing skills, email, PDF and Excel knowledge.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily shop activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of tools and machinery to ensure they are in safe working condition and clean.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with management to develop schedules, assign tasks, and manage workflow.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Key in maintenance work in TMS system.
Qualifications
- A must be able to ineract and problem solve with customers
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a mechanical or maintenance environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A background in vehicle maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.08 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
