This is a flex officer position for a HOA community located in WPB, near the Outlet mall. The officer will be covering open shifts and/or vacation slots.

Starting pay is $16.00 dollars. Direct Deposit/ Bi-Weekly Pay

Job Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Patrolling premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence
• Monitoring and authorizing entrance of vehicles or people on the property
• Removing wrongdoers or trespassers from the area

We are looking for competent, highly trained Security Officers. Applicants are required to have an active Florida Class D License or Blue Card. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts, or other criminal behavior.

A security officer must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation.

Responsibilities

• Ability to independently patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Respond to service calls
• Respond to Medical/Fire Rescue calls for service.
• Provide assistance to people in need.
• Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to the legal protocol before the arrival of authorities.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
• Foot Patrol, parking enforcement, periodic bending, stooping, or lifting no more than 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a security officer or guard
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
• Licensed as a security officer
• A High School diploma is required
• Background current or previous Law Enforcement/Corrections/ Military or Specialized Security Training.

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift

• Night shift
• On call
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
