The Floating Staff Member role at Roscam Crèche is a lively, hands-on role. This would be ideal for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys working with children of all ages and enjoys giving a helping hand where needed.

We are a well-established, purpose-built childcare centre and one of the largest crèches in Galway, employing 25 staff across 7 childcare rooms. We operate to consistently high standards and welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates. The minimum qualification required is a Level 5 in Childcare.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will support our early years team by:

• Covering staff breaks across all rooms
• Assisting with day-to-day tasks and general duties that help the Crèche to run smoothly
• Ensuring a safe, caring, and engaging environment for all children

Requirements:

• QQI Level 5 qualification in Childcare / Early Learning & Care
• A genuine interest in working with young children
• Flexible, reliable, and a strong team player
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practice
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential for this role
