Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and creative Florist to join our team at The Wild Garden. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for flowers, an eye for design, and the ability to craft beautiful, high-quality arrangements for various occasions. As an Experienced Florist, you will be responsible for creating floral designs for retail clients, events, and special orders, while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will also be expected to manage inventory, maintain the presentation of the shop, and mentor junior florists .We are looking for an experienced florist to join our small team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Floral Arrangements: Design and create stunning floral arrangements for a variety of occasions including weddings, funerals, holidays, corporate events, and everyday celebrations.
• Customer Service: Provide expert advice to customers, helping them select the best flowers and arrangements for their needs. Deliver personalized service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels of flowers, foliage, and supplies. Ensure flowers are stored properly to maintain freshness and quality.
• Sales & Upselling: Promote and upsell flowers, plants, and related products to increase sales.
• Event & Wedding Planning: Assist in planning and executing large-scale floral installations and event decorations. Collaborate with event coordinators, brides, and clients to understand their vision and deliver creative floral solutions.
• Design Consultation: Work with clients to customize arrangements for special occasions and personal gifts, providing professional advice on design and color coordination.
• Maintenance: Keep workstations clean, organized, and well-stocked. Ensure tools, equipment, and floral materials are in good condition.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior florists, helping them develop their skills and ensuring quality standards are met.
• Social Media & Marketing: Occasionally assist with promoting floral arrangements on social media platforms to enhance the company’s online presence.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a florist, with a strong portfolio of floral designs.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of flowers, plants, and floral arranging techniques, including experience with various design styles.
• Creativity: Strong artistic sense with an ability to create unique and personalized arrangements.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift heavy items (e.g., flower boxes, vases) and stand for extended periods.
• Additional Skills: Experience with Epos, ability to work under pressure, and handle tight deadlines.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: €13.50-€15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
