Terra Analytical is New Zealand’s leading equipment fluid testing facility, supporting industries from agriculture to power, aviation to mining and more.A division of Terra Cat, our analytical team specialise in fluid analysis, providing our customers with a scientific window into the performance of their machines.

The role:

• Familiarisation with all laboratory facets through rotations and support for each operational area
• Technical interpretation of fluid sample results
• Communication of results with customers
• Assist with preparation of bids and contracts for new customers
• Undertake the study and training to gain the Caterpillar Level 1 Interpretation certificate

To be a fully trained and qualified Fluid Analysis Interpreter takes up to 2 years of study and on the job training.We will support you through this training, but it will require some study outside of work hours.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a relevant tertiary qualification (preferably in the sciences or engineering)
• Has some experience in laboratory procedures and quality control practices
• Possesses excellent and engaging communication skills
• Has a high level of computer literacy
• Can analyse large amounts of data under tight timeframes
