The Impact You'll Make
As the Sales Development Manager for our Danfoss Fluid Conveyance portfolio, you will be the engine for top-line revenue growth.
Your focus is to expand our market share by identifying and executing new sales opportunities and delivering expert technical solutions.
Success requires building a strong, collaborative partnership with the ANZ sales team and key internal stakeholders, including our global manufacturing plants and supply chain, to deliver exceptional results for our valued customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Strategic Growth: Drive revenue, margin, and growth targets by developing and executing a strategic business plan for the fluid conveyance product line.
- Opportunity Development: In conjunction with the sales team, proactively identify, qualify, and secure new sales opportunities.
- Technical Solutions: Act as a technical expert, understanding customer challenges and designing compelling fluid conveyance solutions that meet their needs and create value.
- Customer Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in both new and existing accounts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the vital link between customers, the sales team, global manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence: Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and inform sales strategy
What We're Looking For
- Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in a technical sales, business development, or account management role, preferably within the hydraulics, fluid power, or industrial products sector.
- Technical Aptitude: A strong mechanical or technical background with the ability to understand and sell complex engineered solutions. A qualification in Engineering is highly desirable.
- Strategic Mindset: The ability to develop and execute strategic account plans, manage a complex sales cycle, and think beyond the immediate sale.
- Exceptional Communicator: The ability to articulate technical value propositions to a diverse audience, from engineers to procurement managers.
- Collaborative Spirit: A proven track record of working effectively with internal teams (sales, engineering, operations) to achieve shared goals.
- Self-Motivated & Driven: A proactive, results-oriented individual who thrives on autonomy and is passionate about exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and support business needs.
