Overview
We are seeking a Fluoroscopy Technician to support our physicians in performing interventional pain management procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience operating fluoroscopy equipment, maintaining radiation safety standards, and assisting with image-guided procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate C-arm fluoroscopy equipment during interventional pain procedures
• Prepare and disinfect procedure rooms and equipment
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and applying aseptic techniques to prevent infection
• Assist with specialized scans such as DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) scans for bone density assessment and PET (Positron Emission Tomography) scans for metabolic activity analysis
• Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, patient information, and equipment calibration logs
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and infection control practices
• Support the setup and calibration of imaging devices, including understanding complex anatomy and medical terminology to optimize image quality

Qualifications

• Experience or training in medical imaging techniques, particularly fluoroscopy procedures
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging
• Demonstrated understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control practices in a clinical setting
• Ability to operate advanced medical imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent communication skills to effectively explain procedures and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Certification or licensure as a radiologic technologist or fluoroscopy technician is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for qualified candidates

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
