Reporting to the , and Operations Manager the team member will operate a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests. Food Service is a key element of our trade so experience in this service would be very beneficial.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure a good working knowledge of food, wine and cocktails. Be able to make recommendations.
• Ensure adequate stock in the bar and ensuring all back of house areas are kept clean and to standard
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• Promote good team relations in F&B team ensuring fairness and consistency.
• Lead, support, inform and guide junior team members.
• Ensure all Cleaning checklists and Paperwork is in order and on file.
• In the absence of manager ensure all sections are allocated appropriately amongst the team.
• Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs and ensure recycling is undertaken.
• Requirements:
• Must be available midweek and weekend for work
• The ability to work on own initiative and be very organised
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills is vital
• Flexibility with ability to work varying shift patterns
• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel property is desired but not essential.
• Previous experience in a high volume/ fast paced environment.
• Must be able to multi-task and be willing to help out where required in all areas of the hotel.
• Must have excellent people skills and be extremely customer focused.
• Must be enthusiastic and a quick learner.
• Must be over 18 years of age.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €28,000.00-€30,000.00 per year
