Food And Beverage Purchasing Assistant Manager

Full Time Food and Beverage Purchasing Assistant Manager to join our team

• Working with the purchasing manager to run the purchasing department
• Maintaining cordial working relationships with suppliers and supervising vendor activities
• Managing purchase orders, overseeing shipping schedules and maintaining purchase records
• Working with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies
• Conducting ongoing market research to identify beneficial purchase agreements and potential suppliers
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and ethical standards
• Keep senior management informed of market trends and emerging opportunities
• Maintaining a professional image for the company in all dealings with both suppliers and clients
• Participation in various projects and group meetings as required
• Provide accurate, timely reporting on procurement activities to support decision-making
• Managing day to day Supply Chain activities
• Clear communication daily with sales team to support achievement of customer needs and timelines

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years in procurement within the FMCG sector is essential
• Third-level qualification in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills, with proficiency in procurement MS Office
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to support strategic sourcing

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €33,891.00-€41,712.00 per year
